I am Professor of Private Law and Law & Economics at the Law School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, at which I initially completed my undergraduate studies. Between 2000 and 2004 I obtained my LL.M. and PhD at the Law School of the University of Tübingen, Germany (both with “summa cum laude”, excellent). I also carried out a post-doc in London at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies of UCL. I have been a visiting scholar at the School of Law of UC Berkeley and an academic visitor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford (UK). I am a Supreme Court lawyer, an experienced arbitrator and an accredited mediator (CIArb).

I have published a plethora of scientific articles and papers in Greek, German and English and have written seven books. I am also a regular newspaper columnist.
